Integration
XiCrypt SecureMail Guard can be integrated into your corporate network just like a firewall. XiCrypt SecureMail Guard works on an email protocol basis (SMTP, POP3, IMAP) and is interoperable with all email infrastructures (Lotus Notes, Microsoft Outlook, Groupwise and others). XiCrypt SecureMail Guard acts as an SMTP proxy. Emails are automatically encrypted, decrypted, signed and the signatures are verified.
Easy installation
XiCrypt SecureMail Guard is ready for operation right out-of-the box. We offer complete install packages for various platforms. Installation is completed very quickly and you do not need additional software.
Administration & JMX support
XiCrypt SecureMail Guard can be configured and maintained via a web interface. In addition XiCrypt SecureMail Guard supports Java Management Extensions (JMX). Thus it can easily be integrated into a Standard System Management environment.
Easy enrolment of certificates
With XiCrypt SecureMail Guard you can generate certificates in an automated way. You just need one certificate for your company. Based on this certificate further certificates can be generated for your employees automatically. No certificates have to be installed at the client end.
Automated checking of incoming emails
All incoming emails are checked for the signature?s validity. Encrypted incoming emails are automatically decrypted.
Digital signatures and encryption according to standardized conventions
You can define that emails addressed to certain business trading partners are automatically signed and encrypted, while emails addressed to other people are sent as conventional emails. When you and your employees are sending out emails these emails are signed and encrypted in the background according to values preset by management.
Invisible to the user ? no training required
In order to benefit from encrypting and signing emails, XiCrypt SecureMail Guard is centrally installed and configured. The end user does not need to have any specific knowledge of complex security tools ? and thus no training is required at all.
