TimeStamp Generator RFC 3161
Objective time data for electronic documents
The system time of a computer can be set arbitrarily and is therefore not suited to give an exact and objective verification of time data. In order to properly verify the content of an electronic document at a specific date you should use a timestamp.
TimeStamp Generator renders time data verifyable
The Module TimeStamp Generator generates a timestamp according to RFC 3161 for an email and encloses it to the email as an attachment timestamp.tsr. The timestamp is requested from an external timestamping service (Time Stamping Authority - TSA) that issues the timestamps. XiCrypt operates its own timestamping service which is made available for customers at no charge.
