Client based timestamp verification
XiCrypt provides a verification client to verify timestamps on the email client or on the desktop PC. If the verification client is assigned a file with the extension .tsr the content of the timestamp will be displayed. The verification client can also be assigned the entire email. In this case the cryptographic correctness of the timestamp will also be verified.
Timestamp verification for Windows
With Windows files with the extension .eml and .tsr will be automatically linked with the verification client. By right-clicking an .eml or .tsr file the dialogue "verify timestamp" will open.
