PGP support by XiCrypt
From now on XiCrypt not only provides solutions for the S/MIME standard but also for the PGP standard.
The PGP standard enables you to send and receive digitally signed and encrypted emails all over the world. The S/MIME standard is used for digital signatures in Asia and Europe, whereas the PGP standard is used in the USA. By implementing the PGP standard into the existing S/MIME based solutions of XiCrypt we can provide the ideal package for globally active companies.
The XiCrypt software now automatically identifies whether incoming mails are PGP or S/MIME based and it reacts accordingly. If outgoing, digitally signed or encrypted mails should use the PGP standard, you can define this rule easily for the respective recipient?s address.
