XiCrypt provides E-Control with SecureMail Guard and MailFlow Manager!
E-Control, the official regulator for the Austrian electricity market, is constantly exchanging information with all Austrian suppliers of electricity. This information often includes highly sensitive data that requires a certain level of security. With SecureMail Guard XiCrypt has implemented the ideal solution allowing emails to be encrypted and signed according to requirements and preset policies.
As regulatory authority E-Control is also considering the secure archiving and verifiability of their electronic communications. Therefore XiCrypt has integrated the XiCrypt MailFlow Manager between the XiCrypt SecureMail Guard and the archiving system of E-Control. XiCrypt MailFlow Manager timestamps every single outgoing mail and thus serves as an electronic mail unit. At the same time communications can be verified and E-Control can receive a proof of delivery if desired. Thus emails are comparable to registered letters sent through the post.
